Recent achievements

National Science and Technology Achievement Award
"Occurring rule and integrated management and Control techniques of the primary agricultural rodents"
"Management and Control techniques for limiting quick spread of Colorado Potato Beetle, a dangerous invasive pest insect, in China "
"Ecological Management and Control techniques of cotton aphid in Xinjiang"

A newly marketed bio-insecticide
A series of techniques for large scale producing the baculovirus bio-insecticides is developed in our laboratory. The applied dosage of the products are very low (30-40g/ha) while the performance of our virus products in the field is very promising. We first marketed them in 2006 but the usage area of the year already reached over 40,000 ha.
